Is milk okay for cat ?

Lak just can drink milk. So I just search whether milk is okay for cat and found this article :-

Question: Is Milk Okay for my Cat?
My cat enjoys milk, and I give her a small amount two or three times a week. Will this help or harm her? I've read somewhere that milk is not good for cats.
Answer: Generally speaking, milk is not recommended for adult cats, as many of them are lactose-intolerant, and have problems digesting it.
However, If she's not throwing up or having diarrhea, she's probably okay with it. Some experts advise that cream is better than regular milk if you must give it to cats, probably because cream has less lactose than whole or skim milk. But again, a small amount of skim milk seems to be okay for your kitty, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Also, recently, several new lactose-free milk substitutes for cats have been developed, such as CatSip, which may also be found in some food stores and most large pet supply stores. If your cat enjoys milk, she may like these products too.

I've no option. Lak just can drink milk. But we not feed him with ordinary milk. We feed with milk that only for pet. Hope it is okay.. Any suggestion?

Lak feeling better

Almost a week after Lak get an accident. Now, he get better and more active than last week. He can walk and meowing . But still not eating . Just drink milk...

Stray cat - Get a place or independent ?

This week I just watch a local authority staff caught cat and put it in the cage. It is because the cat don't have owner and make dirty at the house and market.The cat will put in some place and will take care by some of the specialist. Honestly, I'm sad when see many cat in the cage but maybe it is better for them. They have place and meal but maybe not independent like before. How about your opinion ? Do you think it is better for them to release or not?

Lak walk to drink

Cat want to be wash

Lak recover now and still regain his wealth.. So, today I just want to share another pic of my cat. The oldest cat in my house, Maki.. Rest at the washing machine.. Maybe he want to get into the washing machine. hehe

Thank you coz there's many comment on my previous post about Lak sick. He is still weak but there's more movement than before.. I just snap some of picture...

Yup , his face is dirty.. We just wait untill he is really good to wash. My sister just clean his bleed and can't really wash it. He still hurt. Pray for him..

Lak sick

It is sad news. On Thursday night Lak has been hit by accident. Dunno what vehicle hit him.. I just found his in bleeding. He is bleeding.  On the morning, my father bring him to vet and doctor give injection and clean his wound. It is very sad to look the active cat get hurt and can't do nothing. His heartbeat is faster than normal... Dunno if he can survive or not.. Let's pray that he will be fine..

He is not stabil.. Sorry, there's no picture from his face.. I think it is better not to snap the picture while he is in bad condition.

Manage your cat litter box

It is Saturday and as I'm on holiday so do the cat. In this entry I'll just share information I've get from internet.

Cats are fastidious and can be very fussy about their litter box, its cleanliness, location and the type of litter used.

If your cat is not satisfied with its litter box, be careful or it may well choose another location in your house more to its liking!

Therefore, it makes sense to keep your litter box as clean and comfortable as possible for your cat. And remember, even the best cats may need reminders from time to time about litter box habits.

Choosing a Litter Box

A full-size litter box, available from your pet store is appropriate for your cat. Kittens may use a smaller box. It should be made of a non-absorbent material, like plastic, for easy cleaning with soap and warm water and to prevent odors from being absorbed by the box.

Placing the Litter Box

When selecting a location for your cat's litter box, choose a quiet, out-of-the-way place that is easily accessible and will ensure your cat's privacy. Keep the litter box away from the cat's eating and sleeping quarters, but still within easy reach. Once you choose a location, don't move it or you might confuse your cat. If you have more than one cat or a large house, you might want to consider two separate locations, one on each side of the house.

Switching Fillers

At first, your cat may reject a new filler brand because it smells and feels different. Ease your cat into the new brand slowly to reduce stress and confusion. Begin by mixing one-third of the new filler with two-thirds of the old. Then, gradually increase the amount of the new brand until your cat becomes used to it.

How Much Filler Should You Use?

Maintain a depth of about three inches. Kittens will need less.

Cleaning the Litter Box

Cats do not like to use a dirty litter box and will choose another location if they are dissatisfied with the environment provided for them. Conventional filler should be cleaned daily by removing the waste. It should be completely changed once a week. The box itself will need to be occasionally disinfected on a regular basis to remove odors.

Disposing of Litter

When disposing of litter, wrap it in two bags and tie it securely. Do not flush the litter down the toilet as it can be extremely harmful to plumbing. As some clumping litter may be flushable, but may not be friendly to septic tanks, it is a good idea to bag instead of flush your litter.

Do not use cat box filler as a fertilizer in your garden. Dumping cat waste in your garden will not only attract flies and neighborhood cats, it will be unhealthy to you if you eat fruits and vegetables fertilized by concentrated amounts of it.
